That looks like so much fun,I wonder if one of those broadcast outlets is in England?
I’m going to see the GVB next week, really looking forward to it.
I am showing my naivete, but are you all using scripts? I just assumed it was spontaneous~ Looks like you all had great fun! It is hilarious to see Bill in sunglasses:D
rachelbaker: I’m sure there must be! (Russ and David hung out Monday night!)
jcolquette: The scripted part is for the intros, lead-ins to the music and reading emails from listeners– it keeps the pacing going so we won’t run out of time. The rest of the shenanigans are on the fly!
Fun Fun Fun! That would be so much fun. Can’t think of a safer group to “fly by the seat of your pants” with.
Looks fun. Btw, who’s the guy with the beard?
Vicki: That’s Phil Brower– he’s the guy who puts it all together, writes the scripts, etc. He has an extensive history in radio, GREAT guy to work with!
Congrats !! And thanks for the photos = )
Great photos! Thanks to Russ for sparing the time to see David.
What fun!!!! I’m going to have to find it and listen. Hard day’s work, right?
One celebration after another in the Taff household, for goodness sake….what joy!
I’m pretty sure that you are having so much fun it has to be illegal! You might want to consult an attorney…..especially with these pictures posted here that could be used as evidence. A word to the wise……
These shows aren’t recorded live are they? From the shows I’ve listened to, they were recorded in blocks and then we as the listener could listen to the shows as often as we want.
The reason I ask is I use to listen to the recorded shows – before Tori – on my lunch hour at work… now I don’t know how to listen. The new website doesn’t have a button to “play” on the internet… looks like it’s just satelite radio or specific radio stations in our areas where we reside…
Also on the Homecoming Radio website they spelled your last name TAF”T”… thought you’d like to know!
Click here to listen to Homecoming Radio on the internet – duh!! Found it! NEVER MIND!!!
Um…I really like the floor in that room.
And,yes, I am as random as Charlotte.
Do you think it’s acoustical flooring? Is there such a thing?
I think it’s interesting that Bill Gaither is drinking coffee from McDonald’s instead of Starbucks. It’s not like it’s too expensive for him.
Tori, your hair is getting so long!!! It makes you look so young and pretty! (I’m kissin’ up for something I’m gonna ask later.)
And what are those orange things that look like calculators—–there’s one by Tori and one by Mark.
And sometime, Tori, can I come with you if I am real quiet? I won’t even laugh loud! (“You have not because you ask not”, right? I said you looked real pretty……did you notice that?) Of course, I would have to clear my schedule…..which might be problematic.
Oh heck. I don’t even HAVE a schedule. So……call me.
