So adorable! Wish I could have gotten a pic of mine this a.m. But she won’t lay still long enough for pic. it’s in the 90’s here again today, I don’t have air in my house, so when she is not downstairs where it is cool, in the bedroom I have box fan in the window and small fan on high pointing towards the bed, and is actually pretty cool in there. She was in the middle of the bed, on her back, all 4’s up in the air just enjoying herself. Had to laugh! But as soon as I moved she did too!!!

OK, I’ve just seen four Don Knotts films from the 60’s pretty much back-to-back. Ben stuck in bed a few days. Anyway, in one of them he stated ‘Beauty is as beauty does.’ What !?? I thought it was what we learned from Forest. Anyway, curiosity got the best of me and this is what I found on-line —
“How one acts makes one beautiful or not, not his/her superficial looks. In other words, true beauty is not found in superficial appearance (his/her face and/or body is beautiful), but how one behaves and carries oneself defines the beauty in a person (he/she is a beautiful person). Beauty is as beauty does!
This common southern (U.S.) expression was morphed into “stupid is as stupid does” in the movie Forrest Gump, and as a result “stupid is as stupid does”is now more widely known than the original “beauty is as beauty does”.”
Now wondering how many of the Southerners here at ‘Bloomr have actually, or actually use this phrase. I don’t believe it’s come up here in any of the discussion threads = /

Weel, the other day one of her daughters, as well as many others, gave her quite a few birthday greetings and well wishes on facebook, AFTER the 21st !! I’m just sooo confused right now = /
Gracious, I’m confused along with you…..but my calendar has it the 21st……and Madi’s is this Thursday when she will be a sparkling 20.
Well, if I can get her number from Tori, I could try singing Happy Birthday in Finnish to Madi on HER birthday then !! ; )
Or if I could get them both on speaker-phone, kill two birds with one stone; so to speak = )
Well, on Madi’s facebook page, it states that her birthday is on Wednesday, which is today Finnish time –
Oh boy, someone new carried my calendar dates over to this year’s calendar and I think I need to go back a couple of years and check out these dates. Charlotte has a birthday coming up in July. Tori’s and Madi’s are in June; Char’s in July…..and Russ’ in November.
She has a look that says, “I saw a star Dude”, must be those pain meds.
OK Memaw looks very content or as Pink Floyd says, “comfortably numb.” Seriously…she is a sweet sweet sweetheart!!!!!!!! I have always wanted a weiner dog. I’ve got a crazy weiner dog obsession. So glad you found each other.
