Pardon my ignorance, but who are the Browns ??
Tamara Mann is a gospel singer and an actress, jonny. She’s been in almost all the Tyler Perry movies, I think. Love to hear her sing! Her husband is an actor also and has been in several Tyler Perry plays. Tyler Perry movies are really big here—–and they’re hilarious. jonny– That’s actually David and Tamela Mann. They are actors that are featured in lots of Tyler Perry films and their own TV show called “Meet the Browns.” Madi has been a giant fan since she was 13 years old, and they were on the Cruise– she was beyond thrilled!

And I spelled her name wrong—-it’s Tamela. My bad. And old.
Oh-jonny-Oh – Thank you for asking! I guess I’m ignorant, too. I didn’t know who they were, but I really wanted to be exited for Madi!
And by the way – “Oh, Johnny, Oh” is a square dance song! We used to have to dance to it in grade school…I think back in 3rd grade! It actually ended with “Oh, Johnny, Oh, Johnny, OHHHHH!” It was like a big group square dance that you got to dance with different boys, not just one partner. We looked forward to this at the end of each class (especially if you had a lousy partner)! OK this has absolutely nothing to do with anything – except jonny’s name reminded me of it. Thanks j!
Actually, I completely forgot that we used to square dance a lot in elementary school as well !! Don’t know which songs we did, though = / They all sounded the same to me.

OK…now we’ll all know how old I am…but I’m pretty sure that ‘Oh JOHNNY’ song was an Andrews Sisters song. I had to sing it in some HS show to some old man..and I had to make it cute and flirtatious and kick my heel up at the end and squeal…and I did not enjoy it! Evidenced by the fact that it all came rushing back so quickly when I saw those words.
I would love to meet the Browns!! They seem to be such sweet people. Great picture of them and Madi. (Madi is so gorgeous)
After a long days work I love to come home and watch Meet The Browns and laugh. Laughter is good for the soul is what they say and if you need a good clean show you can laugh at, this is definantely one. I highly recommend it.
