A little heads-up… *updated*

*UPDATE: Ok, it looks like we have to reconfigure where the review appears on my blog according to the client’s guidelines, so please be patient while we work it out! We will re-post it correctly ASAP!

Hey guys!

The BlogHer people (the ones that run those ads right over there—–> ) have given me an opportunity to review a product for them, so tomorrow I will post my first-ever, real-live official REVIEW! Huzzah!

I know I’ve talked about other stuff on here before, like lash serum and about a frillion different bed and breakfasts, but they weren’t real reviews. And by “real”, I mean nobody paid me for them– and this time they are! (Kinda. Let’s just say that Russ and I will not be retiring to Florida anytime soon. But we will probably be able to support his Starbucks habit for another week.) Also, they absolutely let me write anything I want about the product, even if I happen to hate it with the white-hot heat of a thousand suns– luckily for all concerned, that didn’t happen with this one.

I’m not planning on turning this into a review blog, so you don’t have to worry that every week I’m gonna be talking about, I don’t know, frozen pizza or something. But every once in a while, if they ask me to give my opinion on something that I will actually use and I think you guys might be interested in too, I’d love to give it a shot.

Are you cool with that?

Tune in tomorrow– this is a pretty good product!

Well, ya! But if you start making serious money, you have to support OUR Starbucks habits!!! :-)

It’s good to get paid for what you enjoy doing!

Gramma Jac has the right idea!

Speaking of which, someone over there just tweeted that the pumpkin-spiced latte you raved about last year was now back in ready for autumn. Shame they don’t sell it over here.

Well, I wouldn’t be honest if I didn’t say that I am concerned. I spend time already every morning and evening putting on several layers of Lash Boosting products and waiting for them to dry, watching old reruns of West Wing (I’m now addicted), live bird watching on the internet, scouting out local Bed and Breakfast locations, growing pretty leaf lettuce, longing for pumpkin spice latte’s to reappear on the menu at Starbucks, driving by the Zumba class and talking myself out of joining (didn’t take long), and crossing off one entire day on my schedule for “Tablescape Thursday” (and reading a little bit of their blogs)! And tomorrow, I’m starting my program of picking up pop bottles beside the road ’cause your husband has TWO new CD’s coming out soon. I’m exhausted. I better not get addicted to a new product! ;)

Okay, just kidding! Bring it on!

Linda B.,,you made me laugh! And since I haven’t been reading this blog for all that long, I’m taking that as a (surgeon-general-type) warning!! Do I have the time and energy to keep reading,….? As you said, bring it on!!!

WHAT SMOKEY EYE LOOK?????? Tori, come back here and tell us what you know!!! Well, not ALL you know,……just the smokey eye thing.

Delivered, I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN ABOUT SCOUTING OUT THE FASHION DISASTERS IN WALMART!!! I do that too! And if I could find my camera, I’d take some pictures of them…..except I’d have to do it without the flash ’cause I wouldnt’ want to hurt their feelings. And I wouldn’t want them taking a picture of ME!

I gotta tell you about our trip to Walmart yesterday. I took my 8 year old granddaughter, Chloe, with me. As we were walking into the store, I looked down at her feet. In my haste, I didn’t check her out before we left the house. She had on a little shorts and haltertop outfit (it was 90+ degrees) and…..on her feet were black FUR LINED Crocks! I’m not even kidding! What could I do? I was on a schedule, we were running late, and I needed eggs and bread.
So,we proceeded as though nothing was amiss. But I kept thinking, “I hope no one takes a picture of this and it ends up on Tori’s blog!” I had a story all made up—–she was a little homeless girl I rescued and was taking to Walmart to buy the poor little refugee some clothes for school. Pretty good, huh?

OK – when Tori went to that boggy conference thingy that they go to every year – but this year it was actually in Nashville…’member? she took lots of pics….and one of their activities was a make-over. I am still trying to get that “smokey-eyed” look she was talking bout! It is prob even outta style now!

Well, I have seen Camp Rock 2 for 3 nights in a row now…I am saturated! It was very good, some really good musical/dancing parts in there. Or, maybe I am just a huge Demo Lovato fan…kinda like those JoBros, too! (LindaB – just ask Chloe who they are! :)

    peace

  15. LindaB

Johnny, Chloe has already told me about the Jonas Brothers. And ICarly. And Hanna Montana. And so on.

Gracious, I don’t wanna leave this world without trying everything. W-e-l-l, maybe not everything….unless it is recommended by Tori.
