Still in Arkansas…

…in the land of No Wifi.

We are driving home tomorrow, and I can’t wait to catch up with you guys! My New Year’s Resolution is to post more often–( yours is to comment more often, right???!!!) Hope you have all had a blessed, memorable holiday season and we’ll “talk” more soon!

I’ll leave you with a quick look of what we have been doing a lot of:

We made a WHOLE BUNCH of pizzas on New Year’s Eve– this one is kind of the ‘kitchen sink’ variety, with lots of everything. Daniel the Computer Genius made the sauce and it was rockin’.

And then of course, after eating your weight in pizza, you have to do a whole lot of this:

And there you have it. Bye for now!

Happy New Year to you! Glad you are still enjoying your trip. Hurry up and get back to the world of computers. LOL I ALWAYS look forward to your posts and will definitely make every effort to respond, ESPECIALLY since I was blessed enough to receive a notebook computer for Christmas. Now when I go to Russ’s singings or the Gaither Homecomings, I’ll have Internet access too. ;) Actually my New Year’s Resolution is to just get my health in better shape overall.

That pizza looks DELICIOUS! I have not been able to eat a decent meal in over a week due to that massive ear infection so I’m ready for a good meal and that pizza is calling my name. ROTFL Might have to call Pizza Hut in a few minutes. Of course, I’m sure Daniel’s sauce would be 11 times better but you make do with the resources you have on hand. ;)

Glad you are still enjoying your vacation….sans Russ, I presume.

That pizza looked so good, I almost licked the monitor. I do love a good pizza, and that looked wonderful.

Looking forward to more pictures. Charlotte gets prettier every day.

Oh my goodness, Daniel sure knows how to make a pizz! And, Charlotte is growing up way too fast. She looks like a model on that sofa, for goodness sake.

My suggestion for an early New Year’s blog is to put all of us on diets….with some kind of exciting prize at the end for the one who lost the most weight. (Never mind that all of your readers are not soft and fluffy…I don’t trust those skinny ones)

By the way, have I told you how much joy I have sacrificed in giving you back “my” Russ for New Year’s Eve? I had to tell myself that you are his wife, after all…and he is just my chosen son. What cinched it was how much I love his wife, too. (Gotta keep her energized….we’ve got a blog to run)

    Happy New Year!

It’s a deal, you post more, I will comment more. Now that sounds like a good New Years Resoultion to me. We can do this!!!

You guys have a safe drive home. Even thought I am reading this at 8:38am I am all the sudden hungry for pizza. I hope Troy will want Pizza for lunch :) or maybe breakfast? That pizza looks great!

Charlotte does look like a model Momma Lloyd! She is very pretty and all grown up!

Glad you guys had a great time. We went to New Mexico to visit my family for the Christmas holidays and had a great time. We even had SNOW! It was very pretty! It all went by way too fast. Now it is back to work on Monday OH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

You made your OWN PIZZAS? Cool! What recipe do you use for the crust? Does Daniel have a pizza sauce recipe? Do you bake the crust before you put the stuff on it, and then put the cheese and things on it, and return it to the oven to finish it? That’s how I do it now—-my girlfriend makes great pizza and that’s how she does it.

I’ve always wanted to be able to make pizza like the pizzerias do, but I don’t think I’ve got it yet! I’ve sometimes thought of getting a job in a pizza joint just to see how they do it! But then I wake up.

OK, so here’s two in a row for me…I’ll keep in touch more often. Yummy-lookin’ pizza. I’m drooling because my husband and I are 4 months in to Weight Watchers. Someday…hmmmmm…

Lawdy have mercy!!!! That sure does look GOOD! Yeah, like LindaB ask…what are all the instructions and recipes? hehehe Inquiring minds and viewers and posters and blogreaders want to know. :)

  10. Barbara M. Lloyd

Gracious, Tori, that is a doggone yummy-looking pizza….and it gets better looking everytime I check back here. Isn’t there a rule about not posting a picture of something mouth watering unless you also post the recipe and step-by-step instructions?

  11. Phyllis R

hehehehe Barbara M. Lloyd, I have been checking back to see if there are step-by-step instructions and recipes. hehehe

  12. LindaB

Looks like we are going to have to get a job at the pizza parlor, Girls!

  13. Phyllis R

I be reckon’n so. Now, that is a mental I can do without…can’t see myself in that outfit…however, I do resemble the Pillsbury Dough Boy or in this cause girl. LOL

    Tori,
As yummy as that pizza looks, you missed a great southern meal on New Years Eve. We missed your company too. Momma June even had Len and Jimmy peeling spuds. At least she didn’t ask us to sing for our supper. We will leave that to the professional in the family. She had beans and ham, fried tators, homemade applesauce, turnip greens, coleslaw, cornbread, nanner pudding and chocolate pie. Can’t remember if there were leftovers for Russ. I have to admit that I was so hungry for pizza after seeing your picture, I picked one up the next day.
Aren’t we blessed to share our love of food with family and friends. Just makes everything better.
    Carolyn
