OK, so you guys know all about my obsession with Ari Seth Cohen’s Advanced Style blog, right? Well, here’s a great way to kick off your week: an inspiring CNN video featuring many of his fabulous muses sharing their wisdom and whimsy regarding fashion and LIFE!
I just love these women.

I loved it when hats were in and my mother owned at least a hundred from Mrs. Stadums Hat Shop. How expensive the hat she was buying depended solely on how much my dad paid for the hunting dog. He and his partner had 14 hounddogs they bought and traded and hunted. And, so, mother had the reputation in our little town of being the lady in the most stunning hats. When I grew up and lived in another town all I had to do is trade hats around and take home with me on each visit a new collection of beautiful hats. Then the bee hive hair style came along….and mother stuck with her hats for a long time. To some degree, hats are back for most everybody. But I have a feeling, for those ladies in the video, they determine for themselves what is in and what is out….and hats have never been out for any reason. I like their spunk…..and I suspect that is why they are ageless.
