This party was at Liz’s house for her (first and only) grandchild Perri’s 1st birthday party EXTRAVAGANZA!!! There was a sock monkey theme, and it was so unbelievably cute– also? Liz (and Perri’s mom, Leah) made like, everything you see! Check it out:

May I ask all of you good people to pray for our themema today…all day and beyond? Betty is having three valves replaced and the aorta scraped, where it has crystalized. Pray those scrapings won’t flake off and cause a stroke…besides the seriousness of the surgery itself. It’s gonna take a whole lot of scraping ’cause the lady has a very big heart.

Yeah. Tomorrow nite I’ll have more Christian artists performing at the #2 rock/live music venue in Finland. It’s a 1st. And many things seen to depend on how it goes, the turn out we get, etc.
Been praying for you all week delighted. And will of course add themema as well!!
Also, is it me, or does Perri look grateful, relieved, much happier to finally be rid of the bow and get her fingers in on that impressive sock monkey cake!?!
Oh, and yes, I’d like a sock monkey for Christmas = )

MostlySunny, I’m 6 hours ahead now that we have returned to standard time.
At first look at the last picture I thought that precious baby had a head of white hair. That sweet Perri finally got someone to take off the red bow and replace it with scraps from santa’s suit. Toooo cute.
I believe it’s part of her Sock Monkey party hat!! But yes, cute definitely covers her! I love Tori’s shot of her bottom with her name on her nappi holder!! She probably screamed with delight when Tori first noticed it!! = )
