Kinda brain dead all up in here.

I’M STILL NOT SICK!!

Sorry to get a little scream-y there, but I just felt like that needed to be said with a lot of conviction. Mainly because though Charlotte is better and back in school and Russ is better and back on the road, Madi is NOT better (though not worse) and I’m just now realizing that trying to run a house full of sick people after being gone for a week and trying to catch up with everything (Oh hai laundry!) is kind of exhausting.

So yeah, I’m tired. You know that kind of everything-looks-big-right-now kind of tired? That kind. But NOT sick. Or depressed or anything. I’m happy! Just tired.

I have this blog entry about half written that’s all about this reality show I watched about kid’s beauty pageants and it’s got pictures that I ‘grabbed’ from the show’s website and everything, but honestly, every time I try to finish it I just end up staring at the screen, or picking at a hangnail or deciding to clean out the fish tank instead (you’re welcome, yellow guppy). So I’m thinking this blog entry is maybe gonna have to wait, at least until I can stay awake while I’m writing it– and when you think about it, if writing it is putting me to sleep, maybe it needs a lot more work than I think it does!

In it’s stead, I will now share with you a short little clip that has been flying around the intrawebs lately that totally makes me laugh out loud every time I watch it. As always, I apologize if you’ve already seen it–but even if you have, watch it again, this stuff is funny!

(My favorite part is the look on his face at the very end…)

That video is so funny!! I’ve never seen anything like that. LOL.

I’m glad to hear that almost everyone is back on their feet. My prayers go out to Madi for a speedy recovery!

I’m sorry you’re so tired. I’m sure the last 10 days or so are all catching up with you. If I were a little closer I’d come over and do your laundry while you sipped tea in your new chair with your feet up.
I’ll be in Nashville in April but you’ll probably have it all under control by then. :)

TOO FUNNY! I had a child who slept like that! Always running somewhere and/or fighting with someone in his sleep. He was a “wiggle-butt” and would wake up just as startled as that dog. Took him a while to clear his head and get back to reality.

Glad most of the T household is back on their feet. You must have gotten the “super-duper-flu-bug-and-every-other-illness-shot” to keep all those sicky cooties away from you. You go, girl!

Ahhh…riches to the one who can solve the laundry, laundry, and more laundry dilemma. Isn’t “normal” fun? Or, as Patsy Clairmont says, is normal “just a setting on your dryer”? Have a great day!

Believe me Tori, I know how you feel. I’m just totally burnt out myself. This time of the year is the worst time for teachers. Thankfully, I’m taking today off and going to hear Ivan sing. I need the rest and every teacher was looking at me with envy yesterday LOL. (They don’t realize that I do not get paid to go and do this though. Just the repayment of my body saying thank you for the R&R) Don’t work yourself to the point you are as exhausted as I am, please. It isn’t worth it.

I’m hoping and praying Madi gets well and soon. I think my semi-annual case of bronchitis has finally decided to try and attack me. I was coughing earlier.

Oh, bless his heart…can’t help but laugh, but then I wanna hug him. My little Lucy snores and sometimes chases bunny rabbits in her dreams…always cracks me up watching her.

I suppose it sounds weird, but I love washing clothes, but I hate ironing. I would have married the guy who invented perma-press…all of those sheets, underwear, etc., that I used to iron.

The sad truth is that vacations are work…at least for the little woman of the house. You do laundry to go on the trip and you do laundry after getting back from the trip. And you come home tired….why is that? You need a vacation from a vacation.

But, hey! When are we leaving?

Girl, do you want me to send Troy over to help you with all that laundry? He has that laundry down and he could do it for you while you sit down and rest a bit. Let me know.

Love the dog video, too cute!
