Well, I finally made it! So glad I looked through my SPAM mail before deleting it, because that’s where my password reset ended up finding a home!

I loved the report and pictures, Tori! Alyson you nailed with your comments! It was a wonderful time and we need to do it all again very soon. We can skip the crowds though!

Whaaaat??? I leave town for a minute and miss THIS? I mean, it makes perfect sense that you move to a new town and they crown you Moon Pie Queen. Not questioning that at all. Oh, and Russ…RC King! I love this! But so sad I missed it all. Thank God you blog and post photos. LOVE you and I am loving Bell Buckle more all the time.

Let’s see. Do I have anything to add to all that? My favorite impressions: Madi’s enthusiastic greeting, (we’ve taught her that “squeal thing” well) getting to (finally) meet Momma Lloyd and Beth, getting to meet and talk to Matt and Carolyn about important things, Tori’s face when Russ sings, Russ looking for Tori’s face in the crowd when he sings, and just how sweet Russ is in spite of not wanting to be the “life of the party”. Which role Tori more than handles. Loved the house and town, but would love to spend time with my Taff’s even in Bug Tussle. Or Oil Trough. Or Lizard lick.

Yes, the Book Depository remark was hilarious! And it’s just amazing to me that Russ is so introverted when he’s not so extroverted on stage! I love that look on his face—–the one that says “If I could, I would be SO outta here!” If he wanted to live a life of solitude, he shouldn’t have sung so good! The die is cast now! Poor guy! And it’s funny that YOU are so extroverted, Tori! When you met and decided to marry, did you two realize that you were opposites? Or didn’t you care? LOL

You were a beautiful queen! And the whole festival sounds like a great time! The fried chicken was delicious looking too! And delivered to your door by the mayor, no less! I’ve gotta visit Bell Buckle!

BOOK DEPOSITTORY!!!!!!!!! I nearly fell outta my chair laughing at that one Tori, Russ is so full of himself huh?! Y’all done good and represented the great town of Bell Buckle so well they might ask y’all to do it again next year. Afterall, ya did bring a crowd with ya and Momma, Russ #1 Fan as the icing to the Moon Pie so to speak..well, no one else has a Momma Lloyd traveling to be with them for such an auspicious occasion!!!!! We, who love her so dearly don’t rate that well haha!!!!!!!!!!! So glad y’all had a wonderful time!!!
