When I saw the first one (wedding cake), I immediately thought of my friend who just got engaged and is due to get married next month LOL. His mother is the official cake maker for the neighborhood. She made my 16th birthday cake and did a fantastic job on it. I’m sure she has plenty of those cake disaster stories she could share.

She is 83 now and is still embarrassed by the memory.

My daughter made a wedding cake for a friend that leaned a little when it was finished. Frantic, she made another one-layered cake and plugged the wedding cake where it was leaning. Turned out perfect.

If a cake is beyond repair, simply pull a layer apart into small pieces…put the pieces into individual desert dishes….and heavily drizzle delicious pudding overtop….and refrigerate.
